VO2 films obtained by V2O5 nanoparticle suspension reduction

چکیده

Applications of vanadium dioxide, VO2, able to modulate near-infrared radiation by changing from a transparent reflective/absorptive state, remain limited its shaping as films. In this work, V2O5@PVP core-shell structure is designed prior the formation island-structured VO2 Poly(N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone) (PVP) used surface stabilizer for preparation V2O5 NP suspensions; additionally, PVP acts reducing agent during film post-annealing process, helping V2O5?VO2 transformation under dynamic vacuum. Using in situ TG-FTIR characterization, mechanism carefully discussed and analyzed. Finally, uniform fabricated with an attractive gray color excellent thermal stability. Three strategies various sintering parameters are optimize film's morphology, i.e., coverage. last strategy, thermochromic behavior island-structure simulated based on Mie scattering theory consideration coverage “island” particle size fitting our experiments.
